Short description:

Aim of the project:
The project aims to develop methodology for characterizing climate impact and vulnerability indicators of the agriculture, forestry and related ecosystem services in Hungary. Through the results of the AGRATeR project the adaptation measures in the agri-sector might get more importance in the long term strategic planning of the natural resource management. The project will provide further sector specific information to the National Adaptation Geo- Information System (NAGiS).

Summary of the activities:
The project focuses on providing with additional information for the NAGiS on the arable cultivation, forestry and grassland management on the probable impacts of climate change, and on the vulnerability and resilience of the single subsystems and areas.  The results of the project will offer  useful data for the decision makers, researchers, stakeholders of the economic and infrastructure development sector, land use planning and also for the wider public.
